- It can be used in the form of both kwatha and toya
- In chronic edema due to various systemic illness along with pathyapunarnavadi kashaya
- In ascitis related to liver cirrhosis it can be given as toya paka
- It is very effective in edema due to chronic renal disease along with dasamoola hareethaki lehya
- It is useful in nephrotic syndrome in children
- Effective in metabolic syndromes like hypothyroidism and hashimoto thyroditis
- It is useful in constipation
Dosage
- 15 ml- 20ml twice daily with 3-4 times of luke warm water depending up on the preparation, one hour before food or as directed by the physician
