Clinical significance
- ApoB to ApoA1 ratio correlates much better with increased risk of coronary artery diseases than does total serum cholesterol or individual level of lipo protein
- ApoB to ApoA1 ratio is powerful parameter for estimating the risk of atherosclerosis and seems to be better and sensitive indicator than LDL/HDL ratio . The higher the quotient , higher is the risk . The ratio ApoB / LDL is a powerful marker for estimating the risk of coronary artery disease
