• Hingu is taken 1/8 quantity - especially in bala Chikitsa
• Samadhrana dhrithana in accordance with Kadamayadi, Sanskrit letter algorithm – Sunti 7 parts, Chavya 5 parts Pippali 9 parts, Ajmoda 2 parts, Saindhva 5 parts, Jeeraka 9 parts , Krisna jeerka 6 parts, Hingu 8 parts
• It is usually given in children as a immune modulator -along with hot rice meal and freshly prepared ghee
• Side dishes like chutney can be made with ghee and Ashtachoorna and given along with dosha idli, roti etc
